Office risk assessments in Toronto

Modern offices still have occupational health and safety responsibilities. SENVRIC helps office managers and employers look beyond obvious trip hazards, document observable conditions and develop a practical plan to address what matters.

Independent workplace health and safety consulting. On-site assessments by appointment; service scope and fees agreed before work begins.

Where we can help

What we review during an office assessment

A typical engagement combines a planned walkthrough with a focused review of selected health and safety records. The exact inspection boundaries, floors, access arrangements and report deliverables are confirmed before the visit.

01

Emergency routes and readiness

Review unobstructed exits and routes, visible emergency arrangements, first-aid provisions and accessible emergency information from a workplace safety perspective. This is not a technical fire-system certification.

02

Workstations and ergonomics

Observe typical seating, desk layouts, monitor positioning and repetitive-work concerns. Identify when ergonomic adjustments or a more specialized assessment may be advisable.

03

Slip, trip and physical conditions

Walk circulation areas, meeting rooms, shared spaces and storage zones to identify housekeeping, trailing-cable, access or other reasonably observable concerns.

04

Safety documentation and practices

When within scope, review selected inspection records, staff information, JHSC or worker representative materials, incident follow-up and relevant procedures.

Assessment approach

A proportionate review for a professional workplace

The client identifies the Toronto office location, floor area, employee headcount, building access rules and point of contact. We agree on a practical visit scope and walk the site with an appropriate representative. A written summary documents actual observations and places any identified concerns in context.

Shared or landlord-controlled systems may need coordination with property management. Specialist fire, electrical and HVAC testing, destructive investigation, exposure sampling and engineering sign-off are outside a standard visual office review unless expressly arranged.

What your written report can include

  • Documented scope and reviewed office areas
  • Verified observations with contextual photos where authorized
  • Likelihood-and-severity or other suitable risk-priority method
  • Clear corrective-action recommendations and responsibilities
  • Summary noting positive practices and any areas requiring specialist review

Exact deliverables and turnaround are established in the written quotation. This is a visual and documentary advisory review, not an engineering inspection, regulatory certification, or guarantee of compliance.

FindThree approach

Find. Prioritize. Improve.

SENVRIC's FindThree process means three clear steps, not a requirement to find three hazards. We record actual observations, rank genuine concerns and outline the next actions. A scoped FindThree assessment also includes a complimentary 30-minute virtual follow-up within 30 days of report delivery.

Questions businesses ask

Does a low-risk office need a workplace assessment?

Office workplaces still have safety responsibilities. An appropriate review can help document observable risks, existing controls and selected administrative practices.

Can you assess one leased floor in a multi-tenant tower?

Yes, subject to agreed access and scope. Building-wide systems under landlord control may be documented for management follow-up rather than technically tested by SENVRIC.

Will you guarantee three hazards?

No. FindThree refers to our Find, Prioritize, Improve process. Reports describe genuine observations even if few or no material deficiencies are identified.

How much does an office assessment cost?

Pricing depends on floor area, headcount, complexity, documentation requested and travel. We provide a written fixed-scope quote before work begins.
